The LOCnificent Fest was created to celebrate locs and all their diversity, but it is much more than an acknowledgement ceremony for the often misunderstood hairstyle. The LocNificent Fest is the perfect hybrid backyard party, fashion show, hair expo and market. Everything is Afro-centric: the food, the clothes and jewelry, the vendors and the music. Even the selected location is black-owned! It all comes together to create a festive vibe to celebrate locked hair in all of its phases, lengths, colors and styles. This is a must attend event for those with locs, those who love looking at locs and people in general who enjoy pageantry, good vibes and Afro-centricity!
