LOCnificent Fest was established in Brooklyn, NY in 2018. We create energetic and exciting events that showcase and celebrate the cultural beauty and abundance of locs and natural hair.
LOCnificent Fest is committed to:
- Dispelling misconceptions and negative connotations related to locs/dreadlocks and natural hair in a manner that is edifying and entertaining.
- Showcasing Black and POC (people of color) entrepreneurs in a collective effort to support sustainable growth and awareness within the locs and natural hair community.
- Bringing together a diverse group of individuals with different hair textures and shared values.
